How to sell stocks via Stockbit website and app?

Stock sales through Stockbit Digital Securities can be done through the website in several ways, namely:



1. Through Portfolio


Go to Portfolio page, then click X symbol.



2 Selling can be done by clicking the Gear icon on the portfolio, and select the Sell option.



On the order page, enter the number of lots and price you want, then click Place Order to execute the sale.



Click Confirm on the Preview Order page.



The sale is completed. Click Done, and you will be redirected to the Order page to view the proof of sale.

2. Through Chartbit


Here are the steps to sell shares through Chartbit:

Click the Chartbit tab on the menu bar at the top of the page, to enter Stockbit's charting platform.



In the top right corner, type the name of the issuer you want to sell.



Click Sell on the stock you want to sell.



On the order page, enter the number of lots and price you want, then click Place Order to execute the sale.



Click Confirm on the Preview Order page.



The transaction is complete. Click Done, and you will be redirected to the Order page to view the proof of sale.

3. Through Orderbook


The following are the steps to sell shares through Orderbook:

Click Orderbook on the menu bar at the top of the page. Click Sell on the stock you wish to sell.



On the order page, enter the number of lots and price you want, then click Place Order to execute the sale.



Click Confirm on the Preview Order page.



The sale is completed. Click Done, and you will be redirected to the Order page to view the proof of sale.

Stock sales can also be done through the Stockbit app in the following ways.



Tap the Portfolio option on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.



In the column of the stock you want to sell, swipe right. Then, press the Sell button.



On the order page, enter the number of lots and price you want. Click Sell to execute the sale.



Click Confirm on the Preview Order page.



Description of the stock trading process
On the Order page, you can see the result of the transaction and the stock trading process. There are several terms that indicate the transaction description, namely:

OPEN
The caption OPEN indicates that the purchase or sale has not been filled or is still in the queue. If this caption appears, you can still cancel the sale (Cancel), or change the offer price (Amend).

REJECTED
If the REJECTED statement appears, it means that the bidding process is rejected. Usually this information appears if the proposed buy or sell price offer is too low.

MATCH
MATCH information indicates that the purchase or sale of shares was successful because it matched the bid price, or passed the bidding queue.
